DDOS attacks are one of the biggest hosting related headache webmaster can have. Usual targets are online gaming sites, financial services firms, and payment processors but anyone who hate your site can do a DDOS attack to your site by spending less than $200.
Finding a good DDoS protection and mitigation network is even harder. Usually cost a lot too. because you need skilled anti-DDoS technicians who can react in real-time to changing DDoS attack characteristics to overcome any denial of service attack.
