Loosing Love For Weloveservers

My relationship with WeLoveServers.net has started when they had taken over the small cheap web hosting provider called Tugu hosting. I make two posts about them before, one was WeLoverServers is Having Server Problems. and other one was WeLoveServers.net Customer Support is Good. Well sadly I can say still their servers are pretty bad.

There are good things about WeLoveServers. Their customer support is pretty quick and nice for a cheap vps provider. Also their prices are amazingly low even for a budget vps provider. That's the reason why I ended up buying even another server from them few months backs. Well, when u see an ad about 3GB RAM VPS for 32usd per year, (Yes per year) you get greedy and forget to think carefully and straight. I even got 2 ip addresses along with the vps. If you put $24 per year for those two I have received server for just $6 per year. So yeah I jumped at chance and bought it.

It was really nice first 2 months. It was fast and there were no downtime. The just since August I started getting small dose of downtimes daily basis. I didn't mind those at begin since those were always less than 5 minutes. But sadly things only got worse. At end I had to talk to support and I had to get sever moved to another and it was in Los Angeles. This is where things have started gone even more down the hill. imidiatly I noticed new 2 IP addresses are black listed by multiple sites. Changing ips didn't work since those range is black listed. Also down times are still there even though not worse like before.

So yeah if you going to buy those damn cheap servers and location you get it is Los Angeles then I can be 99% sure you get is black listed ips. They have given me so many promises those will be white listed in new few hours, 48 hours, 72 hours but I think I had to accept the fact this wont happen, Whole ip range is abused by spammers and I don't think those ip range will be de-listed, ever !

I can't say it's all their fault. Their servers are not exactly crappy but since this ultra cheap prices those are always oversold and crowded and but I sure these have become spammers paradise since so low prices. It's sad to see a good hosting company going to shit. I can see they are offering more and more huge web hosting promo prices but what  don't see it how they will handle the situation which is keep getting worse.

Even at Lowcostbox they are not getting any good reviews anymore. Maybe those who use other locations like UK based servers haven't effected yet but LA users are doomed. This is not a WeloveServers Review but just a small ranting about hard time I'm having. I really hope they will do something about this before their long time clients loose love for WeLoveServers.net.

WeLoverServers Having Server Problems

I haven't had any problems with WeLoveServers ever since they bought Tugu hosting but I noticed couple of small downtimes in every month unlike when I was with Tugu host. Well one I have is ultra cheap 20 USD per year vps so I don't expect a lot but I do like stable servers how cheap those are. Everyone want hosting packages for keep their sites 100% up and running no matter it's a cheap hosting provider or high end expensive hosting provider. We all know high-end hosting providers like KownHost provides a excellent service. When someone complains about a cheap hosting provider the usual reply you get is What you pay is What you get. It's kind of true most of the time.

I'm having bit of trouble with WeLoveServer since August and I didn't bother about it much. I did open a support ticket once and it was promptly answered. But since last month I was having problems in SolusVM. I was getting error messge when I was trying to restart or shut down sever even couldn't change host name because I was getting a error. So I opened a ticket and asked about this and shocked by the reply I received. I was just told " Your VPS has been consumed over CPU usage thereby it affects the host node too ". This can happen even thought I had only 4 sites and all are updated. I'm not sure it's the reason. Anyway I decided it can be something to do with my side so I decided to just forget about and support person restarted the server even I couldn't. Problem was there for another 2 days and then mysteriously everything started working fine again.

I noticed there have been bit of chatter in Web hosting forums about their service since begin of this year and some people were having frequent downtime. Some cases was similar to mind so I had a feeling it might not something to do with my node. Anyway I decided to give it a go for another month and see how things work. Hudsonvalleyhost Windows VPS After A Week

Last week I wrote about Hudsonvalleyhosts new Windows vps offers and I bought a box with 1GB Ram for $7.50. That's with a 25% reoccurring promo code. So after a week it's still running well no downtime so far and I haven't had to contact their support for any reason. Still now I haven't tried to test it's limits and just running a Pinterest software 24 hours a day.

I think speed if fine for 1GB box. You get a 1 core and download speed is around 90Mbps all 3 times I have checked so far. Not the best but you can't except anything more for just $7.50. Brustnet Closing Down

Brustnet have been in hosting market for over 10 years and they were specialized in providing cheap VPS and dedicated server solutions. They had mixed reviews just like most of low cost VPS providers since there are only few Budget VPS providers like Iniz vps hosting can keep providing a really good service and keep all clients happy with less downtime.

Anyway Back to the topic 25th last month they send mails to all their clients except for their CO-Location clients about this sad news. They are terminating services and closing down on 25th July. No point of talking about seasons but the main thing is they are having serious financial problems and even sued by several companies.

So now the biggest problem is what all these poor Brustnet clients would do or where to movie ? I think there are many vps and dedicated server providers offering promo deals for them but finding a good hosting provider and also moving everything again is a really a pain.

Iniz is a VPS hosting provider and they do not offer shared hosting but I decide to write about them because they are a low cost provider yet their service is reliable and very good. Since I'm talking about cheapest web hosting here I thought they deserve a chance too. I found them in 2012 and they were a bit new those days and their brand name was StormVZ. They were UK based so I decided to take a budget vps from them because their prices are really good and I didn't see any bad reviews about them.

Last month I received a mail from Tuguhost stating WeLoveServers has bought Tuguhost so they are handling support and everything from now on. I hadn't heard about WeLoveServers hosting service before so I was curious about how think would end. I found they have staff members at WebHostingTalks forum, which is an very good sign. Also there were bad reviews about them. All negative reviews I found looks more like clients fault than providers. 

Tuguhost used to a good cheap web hosting provider with good uptime and even I have had an VPS with them. They had a great Promo offer last year for $20 per year VPS. I still have it and it's pretty good for that price. But back in February it had some down times and things got worse in March. They was a week long down time and Negative reviews started flooding in from angry clients.

I was really happy to see this merge because I had a feeling Tuguhost original owners are no longer able to handle things properly. I have to remind everyone to make sure take backups no matter how good your hosting provider is. Sometimes things happen and Providers could go bankrupt or service could crash. Rather than blaming hosting providers later or regretting about it you should take timely backups.

I have posted about TuguHost before and it's been over a month now since I bought a cheap vps from them. So far I haven't had a single problem there even thought I haven't push the limits yet. BlackFriday is great time for finding cheap web hosting deals. I wanted to buy few good but ultra cheap shared hosting accounts from various providers so I have keep my eyes peels for this. Also I was looking for good VPS deals. There are so many people who were offering mouth watering web hosting deals for both Shared and VPS accounting but I had to make sure I only buy from providers who have a better reputation..

I bought four shared hosting accounts from different web providers and One very cheap VPS account. No point of buying too many same times since these take time to check and test. Also Christmas is coming so there will be more offers soon. I'll review and talk about each of these web hosting packages in later posts.

Hudsonvalleyhost VPS Review

After using several ultra useless cheap vps packages which hadn't last long I realized I can't handle unmanage VPS so I have started using VPS from one of the Top VPS providers in web hosting market today. It's around $50 per month so this VPS is not cheap at all. But it was for one of my big web forums and I didn't want to have my lousy sites in same place. Didn't want to have a down time for my forum because of one of those other not so important web sites. So I was back in Market again for reliable but cheap Mangaed VPS. I don't think cheap is not the right word for this.  The correct phrase is low cost VPS.  

I used another vps provider who gave me a good price I think $18 per month and I got a VPS with 512 RAM and enough other resources. Last time I only went to mouth watering offers with low price and lots of resources. So this time I just wanted something decent for price I could afford.

I thought about writing a review about this budget vps provider for while now but haven't had a chance till now. Iniz budget vps service is owned & operated By Web Phase Limited, An  UK registered company. Their owner is an member in Web Hosting Talks (WHT) forum so you can even contact home if you have any problems or need to clear anything. Iniz is formally known as StormVZ and have been around for year or more. I saw their VPS offers and Thought to give it a chance. So I have been with them since last December and haven't had any serious trouble. For all these months I haven't had to use support tickets more then 2-3 times and had everything sorted out promptly.

They offer both InShore and OffShore VPS. if you want normal VPS then you can pick one of these locations , Atlanta (GA), Buffalo (NY), Chicago (IL), Los Angele (CA) and OffShore VPS from Alblasserdam (NL). They had UK vps too while I was buying mine but I can't see the option now in their site. Maybe these are way too expensive to provide as a budget service. You can Have Normal disk or upto 40 GB SSD Disk.

Their lowest priced vps package is $4.57 and you get  2 vCores, 256MB RAM, 256MB vSwap, 20GB disk space and 500GB bandwidth plus 1Gbps Port. The biggest package Listed in their site 18.30 USD and you get 4 vCores, 2048MB RAM, 2948 vSwap, 120GB disk space (or 40GB SSD) 2000GB BandWidth and a 1Gbps Port. I would rather say Low budget VPS since it is not cheap as some other offers in market. But they do offer good support and their servers are solid. These are unmanaged VPS so you have take care of installing control panels and other things. It's not that hard it took me only around 2 hours to get all done.

One plus point about Iniz vps is they do allow legal adult web sites to be hosted. They don't allow everything which usually not allowed but any budget vps provider like Mass Mailing / Spam Scripts, IRC Networks, Torrents & Warez, Minecraft, QEMU / Windows (yep no Windows stuff in OpenVZ plans) and other regular stuff like Streaming / TOR / Phishing Sites / Proxy Scanners / Public Proxies/VPNs  etc. Also You do your own File Backups I don't think they take responsibility for that (nobody does these days).

One thing you need to remember is like many other budget vps providers they do not offer refunds. They might do it if they feel they should like for rare case but don't expect it. After all they are budget VPS host. So If you want to try their service you might need to pay $5 and rent it for a month. If you are not happy with the service you can drop or just keep it. Make sure to read both TOS. Biggest mistake most people do is they don't read TOS till they get into some trouble and then try to put blame on provider.
